We all carry wounds, perhaps from family or relationships. We need those wounds soothed to live a truly peaceful life.
There are many healing paths, for wounds in body or mind. When the body is unwell, spiritual practice is difficult. Body and mind are always deeply connected.
Healing – Active or Passive?
All healing is “self-healing.” Even when you work with a therapist, you are still the one healing yourself. Whether healing occurs is a choice of the soul. A therapist can only accompany you when they recognize a “green light” from the soul of the person who needs healing. Without the soul's permission, the process will be ineffective and may even cause harm.
Healing is an illusion. Yet it remains a necessary step in the development of consciousness. Be careful with things like “half-truths.” Illusions have educational value; they are not negative in the way we often think.
We are perfect, and in truth there is nothing to heal. But we cannot say that to a cancer patient or someone with depression. Each person's capacity to receive differs, and those experiencing illness will be unable to accept this. Appropriateness therefore remains important.

The Truth About Illness
In truth, illness is an illusion through mistaken belief. Precisely because illness is “illusory illness,” medicine is needed as an “illusory remedy.” A placebo creates belief in the patient, which is wonderful. Since illness is an illusion, the remedy is also an illusion. But if that illusion can mend and transform mistaken beliefs, it is still wonderful.
The truth – if revealed at the wrong time, it will cause further harm. That is not how the healing mechanism works.
When ready, we will naturally receive the truth. Move from relative truth toward absolute truth. Because accepting the truth sometimes takes time.
Every illness arises for only 1 reason – your own evolution.
Once you have learned the lesson, the illness will leave on its own, because you no longer need it.
Illness is like an uninvited guest. That ‘guest’ will not leave until we learn the lesson of that illness.
During meditation, focus your intention on injuries in your body. By expressing an intention concerning your illness, connect with your inner teacher. The lesson comes to those who are ready. With the intention “Please help me recognize the lesson I need to learn through this illness.”
You will heal yourself once you have fully learned life's lesson.
