At work, we sometimes feel highly enthusiastic and at other times stuck and discouraged. Particularly during transitions back from a long break such as Tet or several public holidays, it is easy to feel \u201cdisheartened\u201d and pressured when returning to work. But how can we return energized, peaceful, receptive, and balanced? How can we keep the flame of work from ever going out?
There are many ways to keep the flame alive, such as adding fuel or passing on the flame. But are these sustainable, appropriate, and optimal ways?
How do you light a fire that never goes out?\u2026
To sustain the flame steadily and rightly<\/strong>, there are three keys you can apply to your own work.<\/a>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first key: the Power of Habit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


The first level of kindling a fire that never goes out is\u2026 to stop kindling a fire!
In other words, we do not need to kindle the fire of passion before we can work.
Some things we do need no passion. Think of a typical morning: what do you do after getting out of bed? Brush your teeth. Everyone does it without needing passion's flame, because brushing is a habit!
Right habits are built on understanding and awareness of what we do. \u201cHabits overcome passion.\u201d By using the power of right habits, we do not need passion to sustain work. Habits produce results, and results create passion.
Habits Lead Passion
Specifically listing what you will do, with whom, when, and for how long helps form a habit.
But how do we sustain a habit over a long period? That is when we need the second key.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second key: the Power of Belief<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


No habit can last without faith in what we do. Belief sustains our fire until we realize it is no longer true. To sustain that fire, belief must rest on the universe's operating principles. We need truth and sound spiritual knowledge to hold sound beliefs.
By understanding the laws of resonance, evolution, and cause and effect, and practicing the science of consciousness, we build sound beliefs.

The third key: the Power of Love<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n


Love is one of this universe\u2019s greatest driving forces. Love is motivation, and motivation is love.
When you feel unmotivated in your work, it means you lack love for it. That may be a lack of love for the product, your boss, or your colleagues\u2026
To keep the flame alive, connect with love. When you are filled with love from within, you will no longer need to seek it outside. Because you yourself are love, work is simply one way for you to learn your lessons. Understand your work and what it means to society. Then you are connecting with the true love within you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine….<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You meet two bricklayers building a wall… You ask: \u201cHey, what are you doing?\u201d<\/em>. One bricklayer answered: \u201cCan't you see? I have to spread cement and arrange the bricks to build the wall<\/em>. I am doing a terribly boring job!\u201d.<\/em> Asked the same question, the second builder replied: \u201cCan't you see? I am arranging bricks into a wall<\/em>. This is part of a sanctuary, where God's heart resides, where couples express their love in God's presence\u2026\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you see the difference between the two answers above? The key is love.<\/a>
Meaning creates love. Love creates motivation. Motivation is the flame that keeps you passionate about your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you hold the 3 keys, you deeply understand your work and know what you do – and why. You no longer need to struggle to find ways to keep your passion alive.
Do your work wholeheartedly because you need to complete your own lesson through it. Work out of love for yourself.
